High school.
It's always been somewhere I've anticipated to go to. But, it's obviously different from what I imagined it to be. No one really cares about you. You're on your own. There's no one there to guide you and lead you through like in elementary and middle school. I guess it's the first stop I have to take before becoming an adult.
Well, Midwood isn't that bad. It isn't the best high school, but it does have a good reputation. It's a pretty big school, and it's over crowded. I've always been one of the tall ones back in middle school, but in high school, I'm just average. The juniors and seniors are all like 10 feet tall! I've met a few nice people in my classes, and some people from my 8th grade class go to my school too.
School's pretty strict here, you can't be absent, unless there's a doctor's note, but they still take points off. When we have science lab, we have to go to school two periods earlier, which is 7:50 for me, and I get out at the usual time, 4:05. I usually start at 9:30, but since first period is lunch, I could go at 10:15, and start second. They give a lot of homework everyday, and I'm like really tired everyday. I need a vacation. And school just started.
Tonight's my last day of summer. Fall's starting tomorrow, and I'm definately not in the mood for it. Fall's my least favorite season. I much prefer winter or summer.
My favorite songs this month definately are Selena Gomez's Falling Down and Stephanie Cheng's
借. And when I'm sitting down listening to these songs, it means I am once again procasinating and not doing my homework.

Miss Hong Kong 2009 Thoughts
This year's results.
Were very satisfying.
But, the overall quality.
Of the contestants.
Were HORRIBLE.
Even though, I love the Top 3, Sandy Lau, Germaine Li and Mizuni Hung, honestly, the 10 contestants, were the worst I've ever seen. Some of them are ordinary, average, and you can't call them ugly, but some of them, were even below ordinary and average. Not trying to offend any of them, or their fans, everything is my own opinion.
Least Attractive Contestants:
7. Mandy Chung
2. Esther Lam
5. Winnie Ma
I don't undertand all the netizens love and support towards Esther. Although, she isn't the least attractive, but I don't see any intelligence, inner or outer beauty from her. I just see her as being very conceited and self centered once the netizens began giving her tons of support.
Most Attractive Contestants:
9. Candy Yuen
10. Germaine Li
4. Sandy Lau
Candy has amazing features and is very photogenic. I agree with Eric Tsang with saying that if Sandra Ng wasn't the one who reccomended her, she might have been in the Top 3. But, Candy is not my favorite, cause like Esther, she is also very conceited and thinks highly of herself. That's why I like Germaine. Cause she seems very modest and she's from New York. LOLS.

6. Carly Wong
I love Mizuni. She has such a beautiful and exotic face, and she deserves to be placed in the Top 3. Mizuni's body figure has gotten so much better the past three months, and it's because of her hard work. Carly is probably the most intelligent contestant. She is getting her doctorate degree and she's only 24. What an amazing girl. Carly is also very sweet looking, although, I do not think she deserved Miss International Goodwill.

Unlike 2008's results, I wouldn't want to change this years results. I felt that the top 3 deserved what they got. Sandy's performance was great from beginning to end, Germaine answered wonderfully to the hosts and Mizuni's hard work definitely paid off. Candy obviously earned Miss Photogenic, but Miss International Goodwill belongs to Mizuni. If any of you watched, "美麗告白", you'd know that most contestants are grateful of Mizuni and all she has done for them. But, overall, this year's results are pretty good, and Congratulations to all the award winners.

Janice Man, Angelababy, and my last week of summer break.
Well, I'm up to my final week of summer break, but I honestly don't feel the summer mood here in New York. It's really dull here, and the weather isn't as hot as Hong Kong's. Even though, I don't mind the mild weather, that may get a tad chilly, it makes me not want to return to school.
Anyway, it seems to me that, Angelababy has returned back to her awesome brown hair! I feel that brown hair seems to be better for Angelababy's skin tone. The jet black suits Janice Man more.

Sorry, I lied.
I said I was gonna post another entry after the previous one, but I didn't. Been too busy lately buying stuff for the new school year. Honestly, if you ask me, I would want another month off. I've just wasted the whole June/July and early August sitting around doing nothing. And, now when I realize there could have been plenty of things I could of done all that time, it's too late. Oh well, now, I just have to finish reading my summer reading book, and get ready for my first day of high school, which is on the 9th of September.

友情客串
I'd like to wish both G.E.M. and Renee Lee the best of the best during their first year as an adult! G.E.M. celebrated her birthday today, August 16, while Renee had hers a month ago, on July 27. Both are really pretty, and have an amazing voice, that will bring them much success in the future. Although, many people will say that G.E.M. has a better voice than Renee, and I might agree, I pretty much prefer Renee's voice over G.E.M.'s. One reason I feel that, might be because, I've been a fan of Renee longer, ever since her Cream days. She was adorable, and with her big eyes and sweet voice, I felt like she really enjoyed the singing, instead of wanting to show off her skills. After her new EP, I felt like she has truly matured! Along with G.E.M., they are both one of the youngest, or maybe the youngest singers in Hong Kong. Both of them are truly amazing, and have talent and even more potential within them that is yet to be discovered.

Above are just a few lines from one of William's songs in his new album, Warrior. Besides liking this song so much, I can't just stop listening to it, I absolutely love the MV for this song. I thought it was just amazing, and it was really touching. I never watched a MV before that I actually had feelings for, and I nearly cried watching it. The lyrics were really meaningful, especially since he sang it with much feeling.
It was defininitely better than, "Ten". I felt that William and that girl, Jeannie had no chemistry at all. Her body figure and hair reminded me of Angelababy, while her features highly resembled, Jennifer Tse. Like, if they had to use Jeannie, who comes all the way from England, then why didn't they use one of the "lang mos"? Don't you realize all of the "lang mos" resemble someone that's already in the entertainment circle? Like, Annie G. looks like Angelababy, Dada resembles Gillian Chung, and Tian and Monique are "fake Twins". I personally feel that Jeannie is prettier and has more "class" than the 'lang mos', but the way people describe her physical features, she's no different. Why couldn't they just use ANGELABABY?
Well, whatever, let me go on. Many people aren't fans of William, but I feel he has talent and he can sing and dance. I don't think he sang that song MJ, to receive attention. He truly is a big fan of MJ and just wanted to show some respect for him. For those who don't understand, fine. Don't. But, don't go trashing him. He hasn't shown his full talent yet. But, when he does, you'll be sorry for all those words you said once before.

beauty shop x new items x linda chung
I know I'm only 14, but I decided to go in to the beauty shop for a deep cleansing facial. It's just something I wanted to do out of my boredom. So, I headed down to the shop with my mom, and had a talk with the people there. They were very nice, and the facial they recommended was just right for my age. It wasn't expensive, it was about $38 USD/CAD. It was very refreshing, I felt like a completely different person. The whole package included deep layer cleansing, peeling, steaming, therapeutic massage, remove pimple and/or blackheads with vacuum or pimple needle, cream or soft mask, and eyebrow shaping. Honestly, it wasn't painful, except for the pimple removing part, hahas. But, I will definitely get another cleansing facial before I go back to school!
Well, as all of you may know, I am a huge Angelababy & William Chan fan. They are just amazingly talented & gorgeous. So, of course, I purchased Angela's photobook, two in fact, and William's album. Honestly, I'm more impressed at Angela's photobook than William's album. I don't know if it's just me, cause as much as I love William and his songs, his work this year, seems awfully similar to his debut album, Will Power, last year. Don't you think? But, Angelababy has surprised me. From, cutesy little Angelababy in her teens when she debuted Love Angelababy, I pretty much expected the same from Miss Angelababy. But, no. The whole Paris theme, made her seem like a completely different Baby. She seemed more mature, like she has grown up in just a year.
And, I am a growing fan of G.E.M. as well. Without much thought, I just went out to buy G.E.M.'s 3rd edition EP. And I just love it. It's the most creative EP that I've ever seen in my life. It's designed in the style of a notebook, and it's mad cute. Friends that have been actually calling me out, have noticed that, I have officially gone nuts. I've been holding out my new items and rubbing it in their faces, even though, NONE of them are fans of Baby, G.E.M. or William. I'm like an outcast, the only one who admires them in my whole group of friends. Or maybe their the weird ones.
Well, to tell the truth, I am not a really big fan of Linda Chung, although I do admire her a lot. She seems very down to earth, modest, kind and intelligent. I don't think she's gorgeous, but she's definitely better looking than 85% of the people on earth. That's my opinion, don't attack me. And, oh. Linda's actually the second actress in TVB that I noticed, first being Leila Tong. So, even though, I have never really liked her acting, I still sit in and watch every single one of her tv dramas. Why? I REALLY DON'T KNOW. My friends think I despise her acting, and most of the time, I DO. But, I felt like there's this thing about Linda, that makes me want to watch her, is that a good thing? LOL, so of course, I purchased her debut album, even though, her singing, "HARMS MY EARS". I don't understand, and I don't think I ever will, so for now, I guess, I'll just have to deal with LINDA CHUNG, being the star of tomorrow.
