Merry Christmas Guys! :)

Merry Merry Christmas! I wish you all the best this upcoming year! Hope it's filled with happiness, joy and luck! How did you Christmas go? Well, mine, was okay, I guess. It was a typical family gathering, we had food, played games, and sang karaoke. I loveeee singing and playing games, but you know, I'm not good at either one. Although, once it comes to competitions and stuff, I always tell myself that I have to win, and because I tell myself that, I usually do. So, as a result, I won all the games, (I'm sorry little ones. :P) and won the karaoke contest. Maybe it was out of luck. Or maybe... it was my positive energy. Well, this Christmas, I spent in Toronto and I really haven't been here in a long time. Miss everyone here and gosh, I hope I get to see G.E.M.! So if any of my relatives are not busy, please come with me. :D Haha, just kidding, come if you really want to.

Oh, oh! Before I leaveeee.. just really got to say, after finishing TVB's Born Rich, I definitely fell in love with Joe Ma's character, Topman. Man, he's such a sweetieeeeee! I love him and René (Anita Yuen) are sooo cuteee together! Honestly, they were the only reason I continued to watch Born Rich, cause man that series was pissing me off, cause of Gallen Lo. Everyone knows, I can't stand Gallen Lo series. I just despise him & his acting. -_-" Well, Coleman Tam was adorable too, but too bad he didn't have much screen time. Loved him and Chong Ting Yan, such adorable kids. But back to Topman and René. They're gorgeous people! Topman's hot, I can't believe I never realized, but damn, he's hot! :D And, René, she's really pretty. I've always been a fan of Anita, she's my favorite Miss Hong Kong, and definitely the prettiest Chinese person I've ever seen. They don't call her 靚靚 (Pretty) for nothing. :D Well, really gotta go now, but again, Topman is my latest obsession. Love Joe Ma :D

Hey guys!
Well, I've been trying very hard to hide my sadness for the past week, and my mom thinks it's for a stupid reason.
The reason that I'm sad is
I failed a class.
No, not a class.
Two classes.
I've always been told that once you enter high school, your grades start to drop. But, I never believed it. Not even when the smartest of my friends entered high school and had their grades start dropping. I never believed it would happen to me. You know why? Because I have always been a great student since I began school. I never failed, was never even close to failing and all of a sudden I get attacked with two failures. I felt like a failure. I didn't want to believe it. I cried. I thought about it. I got sick from it and etc. I told my mom, and she said, "Why are you gonna keep thinking about it? Just throw it back, look ahead, and live your life happily. There's nothing you can do about it now." I truly took a full minute to look at her. I thought, 'Is she seriously my mom?' She was the one who always gave ME the pressure to do well, be the best because she believes I can be the best. She would scream over an 85. But, now she's so calm, I thought she was just saying it to make me feel better. But, it turns out, she really meant those words. Which made me feel even WORSE inside. I couldn't drop the fact that I failed at all. I kept thinking about it, and I couldn't even think straight or even smile sincerely.

Today, I was looking through MetalAznWarrior's blog, TVB Musings. I read one of his entries from awhile ago, and he wrote about him failing a major exam as well. While I was reading it, I thought, 'I can't do anything about the failing grades, but I can do something to change the future. Like MetalAznWarrior says, "Once you hit the rock bottom, the only way to go is back up." And that's exactly what I'm aiming to do. I'm going to go back up to where I used to be. No. I'm gonna climb even higher.' He truly allowed me to see that everything in this world is NOT guaranteed. It's effort that brings us success. Thank you, MetalAznWarrior, reading his blog entries, not only inspired me to climb back up to the top, but to climb even higher than I was originally.

My Hectic Schedule

I so don't want my weekend to be over. I have such a busy, hectic schedule next week, beginning Monday. I just can't even IMAGINE what it's gonna be like. I'm going to start 5th period everyday next week, because I am not wasting any of my sleeping time. Studying will probably last until midnight each night, and I will probably not do so well anyway. I just finished like more than a week's full of Science homework, because of my teacher being absent for more than a week. We've got to catch up, so he threw us a handful of work for the weekend. Then, as usual, my health teacher always gives a lot of homework on weekends. Let me share with you my schedule for next week:

Monday: Science Quiz
Tuesday: All Science homework due, which is like a week's full of homework.
Wednesday: No School, but gotta celebrate friend's birthday.
Thursday: Science Quiz AGAIN, Health Test
Friday: Science Project Due

Not to include all the daily homework given from my other classes, and the unannounced quizzes or exams or even worse projects. I am so gonna lose my mind this week.

Someday We'll Know

I haven't updated in so long!
Well, the main reason was because I couldn't think of anything to write about. School has also been getting in the way, report cards are almost here! I'm a bit nervous, cause I screwed up my first and only health test for this marking period. But, I guess my overall grade wouldn't be bad, I hope. I'm trying to study before EVERY test, instead of just going in to take it and test my luck. I've never understood the importance of studying, cause I always thought, well, I learned it, I understand it, so whatever. But, now, I'm trying to get rid of my bad habits and study every night.

So, Halloween's coming up! (: What are you guys thinking of dressing up as? This year it's unfortunately on Saturday, so I don't think people would be dressing up in school, or would they? I was planning to be either Mickey Mouse or Stitch. Haha, or maybe just nothing and stay home and study. LOL, well, I'm not that nerdy, yet. I actually have a half (or less than half) day on the Friday before Halloween. It's 845 to 11:10. I wonder what I'd be doing after school. Shopping in SoHo? Hanging out at the park? Watching a movie? Eating in Chinatown? I guess I'll just have to do whatever comes to me. But the one thing I want to do most, is swimming. I miss swimming so much, and unfortunately, I couldn't join the swim team this year. (If you guys are reading this, NO! It's not cause of anyone/thing) I truly love swimming.

I'm so bored and feel so pointless at this moment. I don't feel like reading The Odyssey, even though, I'm getting tested on it on Thursday. It's just too boring for me and I'll be sleeping in less than 10 seconds. I studied a bit for my Health test and completed all my homework. I guess I'll just be enjoying musicccc for the moment. The Odyssey.

The Odyssey was the first book my English teacher assigned for us to read. While other classes are happily reading through, "Romeo and Juliet" or "The Secret Life Of Bees", my teacher makes us read this 500 page poem. Even though, it says it's "translated" by Robert Fitzgerald, I don't get a thing that's going on in this book. All I know is that it's 10 years after the Trojan War, and Odysseus can't go back home. Oh big deal. I could care less. I have to bring it every single day, and most of the time, the teacher doesn't even use the book. It adds so much weight to my backpack and it's not like I'll be reading it during my free time at school. I just wish that my teacher would quickly wrap this book up, so we can read something new, hopefully more appealing and interesting.

I'm really not in a good mood these past two days. First of all, I can't complete my homework, because my printer isn't working. I tried fixing it, but I just can't handle it. Then, when I decide to go out on Monday to Soho with a friend, I have to help my mom, and stay home. Once my weekend is over, school is like a living hell. We get so much work, classwork and homework. The only happy thing about school is having fun and chilling with my friends. But, without them, I'd dread going to school everyday.

I've always liked listening to music while doing my homework, but I have never found the perfect song for it. I usually just listen to my favorite song of the moment. But, I have finally found the perfect song, and I'm just loving it.

Long time no Baby post.

It's been quite awhile since I updated my blog about our wonderful Angelababy. Well, one day, while I was roaming around Youtube, as the loser I am, I happened to find out, that Angela actually speaks ENGLISH. I was really surprised, since she was raised in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and people there, don't have good English. Well, for people up in Mainland China, not being able to speak English is understandable, cause you don't think people in Japan would know Spanish, would they? But, English is actually Hong Kong's official language, after Cantonese. The truth is, most Hong Kong people that don't attend International School's don't have fluent English. (Not all, cause some do have pretty decent English.) So, when I watched the video of Baby, I had no expectations of her English being even close to decent. I expected a strong accent, sort of similar to G.E.M.'s (no offense to G.E.M., but her accent was pretty strong when she first entered the entertainment circle. But, it's getting better!), but she surprised me. There was a slight noticeable accent and her grammar was a bit off, but overall, I'd give her a 7/10.

A Great Start.

This will be a pretty short post, as I will be getting ready to sleep soon, after I blow dry my hair. Hope you all have been having fun in school, and getting the good grades you deserve.

I have a feeling I am making a great start in high school. I'm building a great foundation and I feel that I finally fit in. I've made quite a few new friends. They're all really nice and very easy to talk to. They've helped me through my first two weeks of high school. They told me jokes, talked about school, tv, music, basically everything. High school starting to become a great place filled with great people that are well mannered. I loved junior high school, everyone, the teachers and my classmates, have helped me become the person I am today. They guided me step by step so I'll be ready for high school. Without them, I'd be nothing. Thanks to all the people who have been part of my life.

High school, End of summer, and Music.

High school.
It's always been somewhere I've anticipated to go to. But, it's obviously different from what I imagined it to be. No one really cares about you. You're on your own. There's no one there to guide you and lead you through like in elementary and middle school. I guess it's the first stop I have to take before becoming an adult.

Well, Midwood isn't that bad. It isn't the best high school, but it does have a good reputation. It's a pretty big school, and it's over crowded. I've always been one of the tall ones back in middle school, but in high school, I'm just average. The juniors and seniors are all like 10 feet tall! I've met a few nice people in my classes, and some people from my 8th grade class go to my school too.

School's pretty strict here, you can't be absent, unless there's a doctor's note, but they still take points off. When we have science lab, we have to go to school two periods earlier, which is 7:50 for me, and I get out at the usual time, 4:05. I usually start at 9:30, but since first period is lunch, I could go at 10:15, and start second. They give a lot of homework everyday, and I'm like really tired everyday. I need a vacation. And school just started.

Tonight's my last day of summer. Fall's starting tomorrow, and I'm definately not in the mood for it. Fall's my least favorite season. I much prefer winter or summer.

My favorite songs this month definately are Selena Gomez's Falling Down and Stephanie Cheng's
借. And when I'm sitting down listening to these songs, it means I am once again procasinating and not doing my homework.

Miss Hong Kong 2009 Thoughts

Even though, I love the Top 3, Sandy Lau, Germaine Li and Mizuni Hung, honestly, the 10 contestants, were the worst I've ever seen. Some of them are ordinary, average, and you can't call them ugly, but some of them, were even below ordinary and average. Not trying to offend any of them, or their fans, everything is my own opinion.

5. Winnie Ma

I don't undertand all the netizens love and support towards Esther. Although, she isn't the least attractive, but I don't see any intelligence, inner or outer beauty from her. I just see her as being very conceited and self centered once the netizens began giving her tons of support.

9. Candy Yuen
10. Germaine Li
4. Sandy Lau

Candy has amazing features and is very photogenic. I agree with Eric Tsang with saying that if Sandra Ng wasn't the one who reccomended her, she might have been in the Top 3. But, Candy is not my favorite, cause like Esther, she is also very conceited and thinks highly of herself. That's why I like Germaine. Cause she seems very modest and she's from New York. LOLS.

I love Mizuni. She has such a beautiful and exotic face, and she deserves to be placed in the Top 3. Mizuni's body figure has gotten so much better the past three months, and it's because of her hard work. Carly is probably the most intelligent contestant. She is getting her doctorate degree and she's only 24. What an amazing girl. Carly is also very sweet looking, although, I do not think she deserved Miss International Goodwill.

Unlike 2008's results, I wouldn't want to change this years results. I felt that the top 3 deserved what they got. Sandy's performance was great from beginning to end, Germaine answered wonderfully to the hosts and Mizuni's hard work definitely paid off. Candy obviously earned Miss Photogenic, but Miss International Goodwill belongs to Mizuni. If any of you watched, "美麗告白", you'd know that most contestants are grateful of Mizuni and all she has done for them. But, overall, this year's results are pretty good, and Congratulations to all the award winners.

Janice Man, Angelababy, and my last week of summer break.

Well, I'm up to my final week of summer break, but I honestly don't feel the summer mood here in New York. It's really dull here, and the weather isn't as hot as Hong Kong's. Even though, I don't mind the mild weather, that may get a tad chilly, it makes me not want to return to school.

Anyway, it seems to me that, Angelababy has returned back to her awesome brown hair! I feel that brown hair seems to be better for Angelababy's skin tone. The jet black suits Janice Man more.

I said I was gonna post another entry after the previous one, but I didn't. Been too busy lately buying stuff for the new school year. Honestly, if you ask me, I would want another month off. I've just wasted the whole June/July and early August sitting around doing nothing. And, now when I realize there could have been plenty of things I could of done all that time, it's too late. Oh well, now, I just have to finish reading my summer reading book, and get ready for my first day of high school, which is on the 9th of September.

I'd like to wish both G.E.M. and Renee Lee the best of the best during their first year as an adult! G.E.M. celebrated her birthday today, August 16, while Renee had hers a month ago, on July 27. Both are really pretty, and have an amazing voice, that will bring them much success in the future. Although, many people will say that G.E.M. has a better voice than Renee, and I might agree, I pretty much prefer Renee's voice over G.E.M.'s. One reason I feel that, might be because, I've been a fan of Renee longer, ever since her Cream days. She was adorable, and with her big eyes and sweet voice, I felt like she really enjoyed the singing, instead of wanting to show off her skills. After her new EP, I felt like she has truly matured! Along with G.E.M., they are both one of the youngest, or maybe the youngest singers in Hong Kong. Both of them are truly amazing, and have talent and even more potential within them that is yet to be discovered.

Above are just a few lines from one of William's songs in his new album, Warrior. Besides liking this song so much, I can't just stop listening to it, I absolutely love the MV for this song. I thought it was just amazing, and it was really touching. I never watched a MV before that I actually had feelings for, and I nearly cried watching it. The lyrics were really meaningful, especially since he sang it with much feeling.

It was defininitely better than, "Ten". I felt that William and that girl, Jeannie had no chemistry at all. Her body figure and hair reminded me of Angelababy, while her features highly resembled, Jennifer Tse. Like, if they had to use Jeannie, who comes all the way from England, then why didn't they use one of the "lang mos"? Don't you realize all of the "lang mos" resemble someone that's already in the entertainment circle? Like, Annie G. looks like Angelababy, Dada resembles Gillian Chung, and Tian and Monique are "fake Twins". I personally feel that Jeannie is prettier and has more "class" than the 'lang mos', but the way people describe her physical features, she's no different. Why couldn't they just use ANGELABABY?

Well, whatever, let me go on. Many people aren't fans of William, but I feel he has talent and he can sing and dance. I don't think he sang that song MJ, to receive attention. He truly is a big fan of MJ and just wanted to show some respect for him. For those who don't understand, fine. Don't. But, don't go trashing him. He hasn't shown his full talent yet. But, when he does, you'll be sorry for all those words you said once before.

beauty shop x new items x linda chung

I know I'm only 14, but I decided to go in to the beauty shop for a deep cleansing facial. It's just something I wanted to do out of my boredom. So, I headed down to the shop with my mom, and had a talk with the people there. They were very nice, and the facial they recommended was just right for my age. It wasn't expensive, it was about $38 USD/CAD. It was very refreshing, I felt like a completely different person. The whole package included deep layer cleansing, peeling, steaming, therapeutic massage, remove pimple and/or blackheads with vacuum or pimple needle, cream or soft mask, and eyebrow shaping. Honestly, it wasn't painful, except for the pimple removing part, hahas. But, I will definitely get another cleansing facial before I go back to school!

Well, as all of you may know, I am a huge Angelababy & William Chan fan. They are just amazingly talented & gorgeous. So, of course, I purchased Angela's photobook, two in fact, and William's album. Honestly, I'm more impressed at Angela's photobook than William's album. I don't know if it's just me, cause as much as I love William and his songs, his work this year, seems awfully similar to his debut album, Will Power, last year. Don't you think? But, Angelababy has surprised me. From, cutesy little Angelababy in her teens when she debuted Love Angelababy, I pretty much expected the same from Miss Angelababy. But, no. The whole Paris theme, made her seem like a completely different Baby. She seemed more mature, like she has grown up in just a year.

And, I am a growing fan of G.E.M. as well. Without much thought, I just went out to buy G.E.M.'s 3rd edition EP. And I just love it. It's the most creative EP that I've ever seen in my life. It's designed in the style of a notebook, and it's mad cute. Friends that have been actually calling me out, have noticed that, I have officially gone nuts. I've been holding out my new items and rubbing it in their faces, even though, NONE of them are fans of Baby, G.E.M. or William. I'm like an outcast, the only one who admires them in my whole group of friends. Or maybe their the weird ones.

Well, to tell the truth, I am not a really big fan of Linda Chung, although I do admire her a lot. She seems very down to earth, modest, kind and intelligent. I don't think she's gorgeous, but she's definitely better looking than 85% of the people on earth. That's my opinion, don't attack me. And, oh. Linda's actually the second actress in TVB that I noticed, first being Leila Tong. So, even though, I have never really liked her acting, I still sit in and watch every single one of her tv dramas. Why? I REALLY DON'T KNOW. My friends think I despise her acting, and most of the time, I DO. But, I felt like there's this thing about Linda, that makes me want to watch her, is that a good thing? LOL, so of course, I purchased her debut album, even though, her singing, "HARMS MY EARS". I don't understand, and I don't think I ever will, so for now, I guess, I'll just have to deal with LINDA CHUNG, being the star of tomorrow.

Finally, after so many anticipated weeks, her TVB music video for her new song finally releases. Who am I talking about? Well, of course, our favorite new singer, G.E.M. Tang, or as we like to call her, Goldfish G.E.M. She is an amazing girl, filled with optimism and joy, and she has reached much success in her one year as a singer. She is a student, a singer, and an actress, but she does everything the best she can. And, the best thing is, she's is only nearly 18, and she is already someone who is going up and up in her singing career.

I absolutely love all her songs, because she has taken part in the production, and she puts her own true feelings in the songs, just like Taylor Swift. Here's her new mv, that I anticipated for quite a while. I'm proud to present to you, All About You, by G.E.M. Tang.

The typical "港女"?

I've realized many people, not only in Hong Kong, but in other places as well, people are really ignorant, rude, self absorbed, and don't care about anything other than themselves. For example, one time, I was walking home, there were these girls, just standing there, talking so loud, as if it was there own house. If they were only talking, it could have been acceptable, and maybe I would have forgotten about it, but, NO. They were smoking, and they dressed like a whore. They're skirts were like only two inches long! (Well, longer than that, but you know what I mean.) They were wearing tube tops, and damn, their breasts were the size of my freakin' head!

Still, if that was it, I'd forget too. But, hence the fact they were talking so loud, I thought they were using a mic. Their convo, was what made me remember them. They were talking about their teen years, and how they freakin' messed up their life with partying & clubbing. Then they began talking about making out and losing their virginities when they were 15 or something. Like damn. TALK ABOUT THAT IN YOUR HOUSE. I had no idea, and I don't want to know why they were talking about that in the middle of the street. I just kept walking, but I honestly heard their convo four blocks away.

Most 15 year olds, I know, pretty much, just go shopping, eating, movies & all the fun stuff kids do. None of them go clubbing or partying. Like seriously? Those girls were f**ked up. Especially since they were freakin' screaming they're whole life to the world. But, who cares about them, just ignorant, rude, and NOT SO innocent young Hong Kong girls. Maybe they fall under the category of "港女".
